St Bartholomew's Church

"Let there be silence in your mind, warmth in your heart and peace in your soul.
May your day be filled with blessings. May your heart be filled with God’s love."

St Bart's is a 'Traditional Anglican' church.  Our church building is a very large medieval building, enlarged and developed by the Victorians.  It is a grade II listed building first mentioned in 1088. It has a superb collection of Kempe stained glass windows and plenty of original medieval furnishings.  Sitting on the top of Church Hill, seen for miles around, St Bart's has been at the heart of Wednesbury for centuries and we are delighted to be partnered with the church at our academy.

Currently, St. Bart's have two services every Sunday:
8.30 am  Holy Communion which is traditional and meditative
9.30 am  Family Eucharist with music, a sermon and chance for fellowship after the service.

We welcome visitors from St Bart's to help us grow and flourish together. Cannon Ben leads worship every fortnight and children are especially welcomed into church on a monthly basis to sing in the 'scratch choir'.
